New Relic: Login difficulties for the US and EU Regions
Timeline of updates
- resolved
At 12:49 am UTC on May 2nd, we identified backend errors related to the service responsible for our new social sign-in feature, which provides New Relic users the power of Google's secure authentication technology to manage access to our services. Out of an abundance of caution, our teams were engaged to investigate and we provided notice here on our status page. After further investigation, our teams have determined that there has not been a service interruption for customer accounts related to this feature or other account login abilities and services should be operating normally. We strive to balance customer notification speed and investigation into events.
From New Relic’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.newrelic.com (opens in new tab).
