Keeper: SMS delivery in US Data Center
Timeline of updates
- resolved
On April 21, between 11:15AM PST and 11:40AM PST, SMS delivery to customers in the US for two-factor authentication experienced delivery failures. Keeper utilizes Amazon AWS for SMS delivery services through the SNS and Pinpoint services. A configuration issue with the Pinpoint service related to sending limits was reached, causing the disruption. The security team was notified of the failure rates and quickly addressed the issue with Amazon to resolve the issue. If you have any questions please contact security@keepersecurity.com.
From Keeper’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on statuspage.keeper.io (opens in new tab).
