Chargebee: Increased Error Rates Due to Third-Party Service Provider
Timeline of updates
- resolved
On November 1, 2023, between 09:08 and 09:13 UTC, our system experienced an unexpected increase in API failures in the US region, resulting in a disruption of service. This incident led to the failure of certain write requests, affecting system functionality. The source of this degradation was traced back to our cloud service provider. They experienced an issue that impacted our services. Our cloud provider swiftly resolved the issue, restoring all services to normal operation. As a result, the API failures were mitigated, and service was fully restored to its usual functionality.

Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.chargebee.com (opens in new tab).
