Braze: Elevated SDK errors and latency impacting US-01 cluster
Timeline of updates
- resolved
On September 28, 2023, Braze encountered an issue that led to elevated latency and errors affecting the functionality of the SDK API on the US01 cluster. Between 12:52 ET to 13:30 ET and 13:45 to 14:05 ET, there were elevated errors and latency from the SDK API. SDK requests automatically retry upon an error, upon the incident being resolved all requests are successfully processed, therefore during that time requests from the Braze SDK to the Braze SDK API may have experienced elevated latency.
From Braze’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on braze.statuspage.io (opens in new tab).
