Twilio: General Errors with A2P 10DLC Registration
Timeline of updates
- resolved
On February 28, Twilio observed an elevated level of errors in United States A2P 10DLC Brand and Campaign registrations, including generic errors like “General Error with Brand Registration.” These errors were caused by heavy load on industry-wide registration systems, as many Brand registrations were being submitted prior to fee increases on March 1. Twilio recommends that customers who saw generic errors to retry their registrations. If you experience repeated failure, we recommend trying again outside of standard US business hours, as we also expect very high demand during US business hours through the beginning of March.

Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.twilio.com (opens in new tab).
