Twilio: Failed Messages Sent with Scheduled Messaging Public Beta
Timeline of updates
- resolved
We experienced failures for customers who are using the Scheduled Messaging public beta. All requests to schedule messages that were transmitted to Twilio before approximately 12:54 PM UTC on March 2, 2022 will be stuck in scheduled status past the scheduled send time, and will eventually fail with no outbound message sent. Note that this is the time when Twilio received the request to schedule and not the Send_At time for when messages were scheduled to go out. Requests to schedule messages transmitted to Twilio after 12:54 PM UTC on March 2, 2022 are not impacted. This incident is resolved.
From Twilio’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.twilio.com (opens in new tab).
