Timeline of updates

  1. resolved

We have fully investigated the SMS delivery failures when sending to the Turkcell network in Turkey with an unregistered numeric or alphanumeric sender ID. Customers should use a pre-registered alphanumeric sender ID when sending SMS to Turkey to ensure delivery. Messages that are sent to Turkey with a pre-registered alphanumeric sender ID are fully operational and not impacted. Per our documentation for Turkey SMS guidelines, alphanumeric sender ID pre-registration is required to ensure successful SMS delivery towards Turkey. To pre-register your alphanumeric sender ID, please complete the form via https://twiliodoer.secure.force.com/SenderId (opens in new tab) or reach out to Twilio Support for further assistance. This incident has been resolved.

From Twilio’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.

Archive proof

Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.

How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.

This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.

Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.twilio.com (opens in new tab).
