Twilio: Programmable Wireless SIMs May Experience Connectivity Issues With SK Telekom In South Korea
Timeline of updates
- resolved
Connectivity issues with Programmable Wireless in South Korea have been resolved. Our connectivity partner for Programmable Wireless steered the traffic away from SK Telecom and LGU to Korea Telecom. Devices using Programmable Wireless SIMs are expected to only use Korea Telecom (KT). In case your devices haven’t moved to KT, rebooting the devices or sending a connectivity reset will cause them to switch over to KT. Please see https://support.twilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020619893-Resetting-a-Wireless-SIM-s-Network-Connection (opens in new tab) for more information. Please be advised, roaming options in South Korea have changed and SK Telecom is not a network option open to Programmable Wireless.

Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.twilio.com (opens in new tab).
