Timeline of updates

  1. update

We're aware of an issue affecting customers using the Marketing Cloud Growth & Advanced Editions product. Some published marketing pages aren't loading and return error messages, so visitors can't access them. Republishing the pages doesn't resolve it.

We've identified a likely contributing change and we're working on a fix. We'll provide an update in 30 minutes or sooner if we have more information.

  2. update

We've identified that a configuration change we made last week combined with a later code change to cause some published marketing pages to fail to load. We're preparing to reverse the configuration change.

Once we reverse the change, impacted customers will need to republish their affected landing page, form, or site to restore access. We'll provide an update in 30 minutes or sooner if additional information becomes available.

  3. update

We reversed the configuration change, and it's now rolled out across all impacted instances. Our internal testing shows that affected marketing pages are available again. We're working to confirm the fix with impacted customers. Customers need to republish their landing pages, forms, or marketing sites to restore access. We'll provide an update in 30 minutes or sooner if additional information becomes available.

  4. update

Upon further investigation, we've determined that the start time of impact is different than initially understood. We've revised the start time of the Trust post to more accurately reflect the time customers may have begun to experience impact. We apologize for any confusion caused by this.

  5. update

We've confirmed that the impact is limited to marketing pages, forms, and sites that customers republished or modified during this impact window. Existing pages that customers haven't changed since the original configuration change continue to work normally. We're continuing to confirm the fix with an impacted customer. We'll provide an update in 30 minutes or sooner if additional information becomes available.

  6. update

Some customers couldn't access their marketing landing pages, forms, and sites because of a configuration change. We reversed that change and confirmed the fix is in place across all impacted instances. The affected marketing pages are available again, and the issue is now resolved. Customers who republished or modified a page during the impact window need to republish it to restore access. Pages that customers didn't change continued to work normally throughout.

We're fully committed to minimizing downtime when incidents occur. We also continually assess and improve our tools, processes, and architecture to provide the best service possible.

Changes Rewindex caught on this incident

Archive proof

Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert. That proves these records existed by then and have not been changed since, by anyone, Rewindex included.

How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.

Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.salesforce.com (opens in new tab).
