Klaviyo: A subset of emails links redirecting to 404
Timeline of updates
- resolved
On August 17th, between 2:06 PM ET (Eastern Time) to 10:30 PM ET (Eastern Time), a click-tracking domain expired which resulted in a subset of recipients being redirected to an error page when clicking on email links. Email sending was not impacted, but email open and click events were not tracked for those recipients. These recipients were unable to unsubscribe during this window. Klaviyo has resolved this issue, but certain recipients may experience this issue until all DNS providers have updated their records.
From Klaviyo’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.klaviyo.com (opens in new tab).
