Hootsuite: Meta Service Disruption
Timeline of updates
- resolved
Hello,
Meta has experienced a service disruption that caused a drop in incoming webhook events and a spike in publishing failures to Facebook, Instagram and Threads. The issue affected Hootsuite users between approximately 9:00pm PST – 9:30pm PST.
The issue has since been resolved on Facebook's end and services have returned to normal.
We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused to you.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert. That proves this record existed by then and has not been changed since, by anyone, Rewindex included.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
