We identified and fixed a site outage that affected a portion of our users between 1:28 and 1:39 PM PDT today, preventing them from accessing our site. This was the result of an unexpected surge in traffic, which we responded to automatically by scaling up more servers to handle the load. Those servers are now operational and service has been restored.
