Deepgram: [Deepgram API] Elevated Error Rates Downloading Audio from GCS
Timeline of updates
- resolved
The Deepgram API experienced elevated error rates affecting some customers' ability to download remote audio data from Google Cloud Storage from May 26, 2024 at 15:15 UTC to May 29, 2024 at 17:50 UTC. The root cause was identified as an issue with an upstream ISP, leading to degraded performance for our Batch API. We have implemented a routing mitigation that has resolved the issue. We are continuing to monitor the situation and are working with our ISP for a long-term solution.
From Deepgram’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.deepgram.com (opens in new tab).
