Cloudinary: Increased latency and errors for uploads, transformations, asset management - affecting some customers
Timeline of updates
- resolved
Between 01:00 and 03:00 UTC, a subset of customers with accounts hosted in our US region encountered increased latency for updates to their account and may have also experienced timeouts and other errors. This was due to delayed automatic scaling after a sudden increase in request volume, and should be resolved for all affected customers - our automatic scaling rules have been updated to avoid this in the future

Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.cloudinary.com (opens in new tab).
