Braze: Errors and latency impacting multiple services
Timeline of updates
- resolved
On September 22, 2023, commencing at 10:14 UTC, Braze encountered an issue that led to heightened latency and errors affecting the functionality of the REST API, SDK API, and Data Processing services across multiple clusters, specifically US01, US03, US04, US05, and EU01. Furthermore, during the incident, the US05 cluster experienced intermittent messaging delays. We successfully resolved this incident on, September 22, 2023, at 12:45 UTC, and, all services are operating within normal parameters. If you initiated any REST API calls between 10:14 and 12:45 UTC that resulted in errors, Braze did not receive or process them. We strongly recommend resubmitting these calls. During the incident window, there were no message-sending failures.
From Braze’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on braze.statuspage.io (opens in new tab).
