Vonage: Delays in sending emails through Verify V2 API (21st June)
Timeline of updates
- resolved
Customers may have experienced issues with email delivery via the Verify v2 API between 01:08 and 01:45 UTC on 21st June. Customers may have experienced delays in email delivery during this period, which could have caused Verify v2 requests using email as the channel to expire or be cancelled. All services have since been fully restored, and email delivery is functioning normally. Please see this article - https://api.support.vonage.com/hc/en-us/articles/6749696044828-Vonage-API-Support-Incident-Handling (opens in new tab) for an explanation of our approach to publishing incidents.
From Vonage’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on vonageapi.statuspage.io (opens in new tab).
