Twilio: Programmable Wireless SIMS Outside of the US Losing Connectivity
Timeline of updates
- resolved
We have not received any additional reports of Programmable Wireless SIMs outside of the United States losing connectivity due to this issue since our connectivity provider implemented their most recent workaround and we updated the incident to monitoring. We have yet to receive an updated timeline on when the permanent fix will be deployed but we are expecting it to be implemented in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, the workaround in place should offer continued connectivity without you needing to take any additional action. We are resolving this incident. If we identify any new losses to connectivity due to this issue we will open a new incident. If you wish to get any additional updates on the progress of the permanent fix please open a support ticket.

Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.twilio.com (opens in new tab).
