LiveKit: Partial Degradation of US Inbound calls
Timeline of updates
- resolved
At 3:50 PM UTC on June 13, 2025, a subset of our inbound calls experienced degraded quality. We isolated the calls to a problematic instance and routed traffic away from it at 8:30 PM UTC on June 13, 2025 at which point the incident was resolved. This issue impacted 2.84% of inbound traffic in one(US central) of our 16 availability regions. We are actively working on an RCA.
From LiveKit’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.livekit.io (opens in new tab).
