Confluence: Issues for some partners using Connect Javascript APIs
Affected components: Marketplace Apps
Timeline of updates
- resolved
On September 29-30 2025, for about 24 hours, Confluence Cloud experienced an incident due to the unintended deprecation of ACJS methods (https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/about-the-connect-javascript-api/#connect-javascript-api (opens in new tab)) linked to retired V1 APIs (https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/v1/ (opens in new tab)), resulting in 410 errors affecting partners reliant on these APIs.
This issue is resolved, we will be working on a longer-term solution to prevent a similar incident from occurring again.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert. That proves this record existed by then and has not been changed since, by anyone, Rewindex included.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
