Buildkite: High job upload and process latency
Timeline of updates
- resolved
On May 23 at 04:16 UTC a feature was turned on that caused unexpected errors in uploading job logs for approximately 3300 builds. The effect was short delays in processing job uploads. Our engineers were automatically paged at 04:22 UTC when job logs upload latency exceeded 2 seconds. The feature was then immediately disabled and job processing began to improve. It returned to within normal limits at 04:25 UTC and all builds caught up. We are continuing to monitor. Please contact us if you have any issues.
From Buildkite’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on www.buildkitestatus.com (opens in new tab).
