Vercel: Elevated Error Rates in Serverless Functions
Timeline of updates
- resolved
A change to optimize outbound HTTP requests from Serverless Functions started gradually rolling out under a feature flag on 2/10 16:48 UTC to a subset of customers. This resulted in some serverless functions deployed after the change being unable to consume the response body properly. On 2/11 13:31 UTC, our on-call team disabled the flag to turn off the change after identifying the root cause through details provided by affected customers. After the rollback, customers were able to mitigate the issue by manually redeploying the app. This incident only affected Serverless Functions.
From Vercel’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on www.vercel-status.com (opens in new tab).
