Sinch: EU3 site - REST/HTTP degradation
Timeline of updates
- resolved
Dear clients, We are retroactively informing you of an intermittent issue at our EU3 SMSC that has already been resolved that resulted in a small subset of MT requests from our REST and HTTP frontend APIs that were load-balanced towards the degraded SMSC node in the backend. In the meantime, the majority of the incoming REST and HTTP API requests were load-balanced across operational EU1 and EU3 SMSC nodes in the backend during the degraded window. Incident Start Time: 2022-03-22 21:07 UTC Incident End Time: 2022-03-23 10:30 UTC
From Sinch’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.sinch.com (opens in new tab).
