Scaleway: [DC5] Public switch issue - room 1 rack C63
Timeline of updates
- resolved
We have noticed issues with the DC5 public switch room 1 rack C63, with which some flapping occurred. After having confirmation it was not a one-time issue such as an unexpected reboot, our on-call datacenter artisan found the QSFP optic to be degraded and therefore replaced it on November 21st at around 5 AM UTC. If you have a machine in this rack that still experiences any kind of network degradation, please get in touch with our technical assistance in order to troubleshoot the issue, thank you.
From Scaleway’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.scaleway.com (opens in new tab).
