Netlify: API Response Time Issues
Timeline of updates
- resolved
Our team investigated slow response times from the API which caused failed builds and slow dashboard loads. We worked on deploying a fix for the core issue leading to the slow response times and then monitored the system to confirm if the issues are fixed. Systems began to run normally. Our fix solved the issue, but we continued to monitor. Soon we again saw slowdowns with our API and investigated the new cause. We identified the cause of the secondary slowdown and confirmed that it’s resolved. All systems were back to normal, and we continued to monitor.
From Netlify’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on www.netlifystatus.com (opens in new tab).
