Discord: Messages Repeating
Timeline of updates
- resolved
We've isolated the issue to a blip on an internal service caused by a deploy a few hours ago, which triggered a case where some buggy code incorrectly propagated the errors caused by the malfunction up to our client, that then attempted to retry sending the message. For now, we've reverted the changes and everything looks stable. We're going to investigate this further. As of now, we have a few action items to resolve these issues, and we'll provide a full post-mortem here in the morning.

Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on discordstatus.com (opens in new tab).
