Datadog: Standard Attributes are not being applied to ingested log data
Timeline of updates
- resolved
The Standard Attribute mapping feature of Logs Management was ineffective between 10:25 AM and 1:35 PM (UTC). During this window, standard attribute mapping was not applied to any logs. Unfortunately, the impacted data cannot be replayed at this time to apply the mappings. Other enrichment and processing steps were not impacted. We have identified the root cause of the issue and are taking steps to ensure that it does not happen again.
From Datadog’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.datadoghq.com (opens in new tab).
