Many Convex backends were down in a major outage affecting Free & Starter, Live Traffic - Database Services, Live Traffic - Function Runtime, and Live Traffic - Node.js Runtime. It lasted 2 h 16 min, from 2025-10-20 07:22 UTC to 2025-10-20 09:38 UTC. Convex attributed broken databases to an AWS outage in us-east-1; AWS mitigated the issue before resolution.
