  1. investigating

Cloudflare is investigating an issue affecting Cloudflare Gateway DNS-over-TLS (DoT) connections over IPv4. Affected customers may experience connection timeouts and failed DNS resolution.

This issue is limited to DoT over IPv4. DoT over IPv6, DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH), and standard DNS over UDP/TCP are not affected.

We are working to identify the cause and restore connectivity. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

Our team has been able to identify and apply an effective fix for this issue. We are currently monitoring the results.

  3. resolved

    This incident has been resolved.

Archive proof

Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert. That proves these records existed by then and have not been changed since, by anyone, Rewindex included.

How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.

Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on www.cloudflarestatus.com (opens in new tab).
