Timeline of updates

We observed that between September 5, 9:22 [UTC] and September 6, 8:48 [UTC], one of our services had returned 500 errors to incoming webhooks from Bitbucket. This behaviour occurred for a very small subset of incoming webhooks from Bitbucket. As a result, a few users may have experienced an issue where pipelines would start with a delay after pushing commits to the related Bitbucket repository(-ies). We have since reverted changes that we believe are involved in this unexpected/unwanted behaviour, and we are currently further investigating to identify the exact cause. Please accept our apologies for the disruption. If you have any question regarding this issue, feel free to contact CircleCI Support.

From CircleCI’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.

Archive proof

Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.

How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.

This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.

Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.circleci.com (opens in new tab).
