Aptible: Let's Encrypt Revoking Certificates
Timeline of updates
- resolved
Let's Encrypt, the provider of Aptible Deploy's Managed HTTPS/TLS certificates, has announced that they will be revoking many certificates on March 4 due to a bug present when issuing the certificates (https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/revoking-certain-certificates-on-march-4/114864 (opens in new tab)). We have reviewed all Managed HTTPS/TLS Endpoints and confirmed that no certificates are impacted by this incident. In the event of a similar incident in the future, Aptible will automatically renew any impacted certificates.
From Aptible’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.
Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.aptible.com (opens in new tab).
