Between 2026-03-16 08:57 AM PT (15:57 UTC) and 09:23 AM PT (16:23 UTC), some Amplitude users experienced intermittent 500 errors when loading charts, dashboards, and reports in Analytics and Experiment. A second brief interruption occurred at approximately 09:49 AM PT (16:49 UTC), during which some requests again returned 500 errors. The issue was caused by a temporary database disruption that has since automatically recovered. Our team has confirmed that services are operating normally. No data loss occurred, and no customer action is needed. We are actively investigating the root cause to prevent recurrence and will continue to monitor the system.

From Amplitude’s published incident history: for incidents before Rewindex began polling this status page, only the final update text is available.

Archive proof

Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.

How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.

This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.

Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.amplitude.com (opens in new tab).
