Upstash change history: Upstash Redis – intermittent connection issues in some regions

Upstash Redis had a major incident causing intermittent connection timeouts or elevated error rates in us-east-1, us-west-1, ap-southeast-2, and ap-south-1 from 2026-05-14 15:47 UTC to 2026-05-14 17:31 UTC, lasting 1 h 44 min. Upstash attributed it to unexpected proxy load and applied workarounds to relieve pressure; the incident was resolved.
