Aptible: Log Drain misconfiguration impacting some shared stacks
Timeline of updates
- resolved
During the recent outage of one of the Docker image registries we utilize, Quay.io, some of the Log Drains in shared stacks were incorrectly updated to use an unsupported configuration. This may have resulted in log deliverability issues between 2021-03-22 20:00 UTC and 2021-03-24 20:30 UTC for the following stacks: * shared-us-east-1-derp * shared-us-east-1-doit * shared-us-east-1-wat * shared-us-east-1-yolo * shared-us-west-1 No other stacks were impacted.

Archive proof
Rewindex commits each version of an incident it captures to a daily checkpoint, chains it to the day before, and has the checkpoint timestamped by FreeTSA and DigiCert.
How the archive is checked, and what it cannot prove.
This incident predates live tracking (October 17, 2026). It came from the vendor’s own published history, which is not covered by checkpoints.
Impact, status and times are the vendor’s own, as last archived. View on status.aptible.com (opens in new tab).
