  4. update

The Salesforce Technology team has determined that a database failover is the best potential solution to reinstate service health. Switching from the primary to the secondary database will result in a temporary period of service disruption, and during this, customers will be unable to access or use Salesforce services. We expect this process to take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete, and an update will be provided in 15 minutes or sooner if additional information becomes available.

  5. update

The database failover process and associated service disruption have finished, and the team is now monitoring for residual degradation. During this time, customers may begin to see signs of improvement. We’ll provide an update in 30 minutes or sooner if more information becomes available.
