   We are investigating reports that some users may be receiving 401 authentication errors when using GitLab Duo Agentic chat. Updates will be provided as we learn more.

   We are continuing to investigate the root cause behind Duo reporting authentication errors and assessing if there is impact to other services.

   The errors affecting Duo Agentic chat have ceased and we are no longer seeing reports of this issue. We were unable to identify a definitive root cause, but deployed changes to improve monitoring. We will continue to monitor closely for the next hour before fully resolving this incident.

   After a period of monitoring we have seen no recurrence of the issue and consider the incident resolved.
