## Timeline of updates

- **resolved** 2016-05-25 00:23 UTC: This morning at 7:56 PST customers attempting to access the Smartsheet application experienced slow performance and potentially failures to load the application. The symptoms continued intermittently as we worked to correct the issue. The root cause was identified as a change introduced in a previous release that caused timeouts during peak loads in the application. The problem was investigated previously, however, root cause was not clearly identified until today's event. Our operations team made changes to increase the capacity of the system. System health was restored this afternoon at 12:01 PST and the system has continued to perform as expected since.
