- **resolved** 2017-06-28 22:01 UTC: On June 22nd, at 5:34 AM PDT, the Smartsheet Application encountered a situation that caused unexpected resource consumption to our database systems. Our engineers responded and began to investigate the situation. Engineering worked to recover the systems bringing them online by 6:17 AM PDT. Our investigation identified a resource consumption issue originating from our logging infrastructure which further delayed the return to a normal state. The system was returned to fully operational status at 8:16 AM PDT. On June 23rd, we deployed a fix to our logging infrastructure to prevent a recurrence of this type of problem in the future.
