- **resolved** 2019-05-16 05:59 UTC: We experienced a computer infrastructure failure from 03:57 to 04:07 UTC and again from 04:18 to 4:39 UTC. This failure affected roughly half of all Shopify stores in our US region. During the outage, storefronts and admin were offline for affected stores, and checkouts were unavailable through either online stores or Point of Sale devices. We sincerely apologize for this disruption and we are working to identify the causes of this failure and opportunities to improve our resiliency against similar failures.
