## Timeline of updates

- **resolved** 2016-06-21 23:25 UTC: We know HelloSign is important to you and your businesses and our reliability can impact both. We're really sorry for the 11 minute outage this afternoon. We've isolated the cause and we're making sure it won't happen for the same reason again. During our maintenance window a couple weeks ago we changed the policy for how nodes in our autoscaling groups are terminated. That change resulted in some of our web nodes being in service much longer than intended. Eventually these nodes were numerous enough that standard health check failures resulted in the removal of all nodes from our load balancers causing the outage you experienced.
